The Purpose

Transition planning for students leaving the school system and entering the adult system is essential. Here you will find timelines for transition planning and resources to assist in the transition process.

Each page will help you learn more about the process of transition and also provide suggestions for activities that help students prepare for the world of work.

The Founders

This project, led by SCE Lifeworks, was funded by the Abilities Manitoba Innovation and Transformation Fund to provide a resource for Manitobans with Intellectual Disabilities. The key persons involved in its development were Oly Backstrom and Elaine Lochhead.

The goals are
